Obituary For Aashon Woods

The Governor of South Carolina advises to limit public gatherings to 50 guests or less to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Smith Funeral Home of Florence, LLC carefully considered this recommendation and ask that additional guest please participate via live-streaming if it is authorized by the family.

Private Graveside Service for Miss Aashon Delvon Woods will be conducted 11:00 AM Sunday, May 24, 2020 in Sansbury Cemetery, 757 East Main Street, Timmonsville, SC. Interment will follow, directed by Smith Funeral Home of Florence, LLC.

Aashon Delvon Woods was born May 23, 1996 to Monica Denise Woods and Robert Grace in Florence, South Carolina. She peacefully made her transition into eternal rest on Sunday, May 17, 2020 at 11:00 AM.

Aashon was a proud 2018 graduate of Timmonsville High School. She was employed with Marion School District as a Classroom Assistant. Aashon loved her family and she loved to fish.

Aashon leaves to cherish her ever lasting memories: her mother, Monica Denise Woods of Florence, South Carolina; her father, Robert Grace of Pamplico, South Carolina; a sister, Makayla Patrice Woods of Florence, South Carolina; a brother, Jiheem Lorenzo Woods of Florence, South Carolina; her grandmother, Minister Patricia (Jacob “JQ”) Quillen of Florence, South Carolina; her grandfather, George W. Burch; a great uncle, David (Gloria) Thompson of Effingham, South Carolina; a special cousin, Carmellia Woods-Wingate of Florence, South Carolina; a very special friend, Jasmine Godbolt of Marion, South Carolina; and a host of aunts; other relatives; and friends.

The family chain has been broken again, but by and by the Chain will link again.
