Apologies for not adding my name - Catherine (Bielawski) Gruver. I live in Arkansas now.

Back in the early 60s, my mother had a housekeeper/babysitter - I only knew her as June. We lived on Mississippi (between Russell & Gravois) at the time. Sometimes she brought her daughter with her to play with me (and my younger brother). My mother passed away a while back and I've only just got around to going thru the last of her things, when I found a payment note (for babysitting) with June's full name-Montgomery. She's always stayed on my mind over the years; she was the steady disciplinarian I needed at the time. I respected her very much and wish I'd have gone thru my mother's things earlier. I'd have loved to see her again so I could tell her how much of a positive impact she made on me. Heaven surely has a new angel to look after all those kids like me.

Miss June was a very loving and caring person, she would help you and anyone else if she could...all you had to do was ask. She treated me like one of her children...letting me know when I was right and when I was wrong. She and my mother (Mary Petty) were like sisters, they've been friends since 1966, Miss June will be thoroughly missed. Clareece Hughes and Family.
