Mr. Jason Maurice Alston, age 49, formerly of Warren County, North Carolina departed this life on Friday, May 15, 2020 in New York.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 23, 2020 at 12:00 Noon at Boyd & Royster Funeral Services in Warrenton, North Carolina and Burial will follow at St. Stephens Missionary Baptist Church cemetery in Warrenton, North Carolina.

He leaves to cherish his memories; his mother, Wilma Woodard Alston of Knightdale, North Carolina; one sister, Tonya Alston of Knightdale, North Carolina; one niece, Lorraine Faith Alston (also known as “Little Jason”, his little pumpkin, and buttercup); ten aunts, Rosetta Belk, Barbara Hugee (Nat) of Willingboro, New Jersey, Joann Towsend (Wesley) of Stromberg, Pennsylvania, Barbara Peterson (Robert) of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Evangelist Denise Alston of Middleburg, North Carolina, Theresa Powell of Goodyear, Arizona, Joann Ward of Gloucester, Virginia, Yvonne Thomas (Reverend Jerry Thomas) of Norlina, North Carolina, Evangelist Sandra Alston of Durham, North Carolina, and Christine Alston-Gloster (Jonathan) of Somerset, New Jersey; two uncles, James Privett of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Thomas Alston of Baltimore, Maryland; five devoted brotherly friends, Jerry Akins of Connecticut, Glenn Buchanan of New York, Terry of New York, Larry Jones of New York, and Cornelius McJunkins of North Carolina; his favorite chef, Malissie Culbreth of Raleigh, North Carolina; along with a host of loving cousins, other close relatives and awesome friends.

The body will be on view at the funeral home on Saturday, May 23, 2020 starting at 11:00 AM until 12:00 Noon.
