It was an honor to meet Rose each time I visited my Sister Sandra in Jacksonville. Rose was the sweetest lady you could ever meet. She touched and impacted many lives just by her mere smile and loving spirit. Rest in the arms of Jesus forever as he has received his beautiful Rose to be with Him throughout eternity. To the Family, When we were growing up and I came back to Alabama for a visit, if Rosetta was around; she would always make her way to Grands(Sadie) house to see us.It was always like old times, I would spend a few nights with her, we would go everywhere!! Seeing her was one of the things I loved most about the visit. We didn't have to talk often for each one of us to know that we were loved by the other one, because to know Rosetta was to love her. I can remember that beautiful smile that ALWAYS lite up a room! There was no sadness in her presence. We spoke about a month ago planning a reunion with my sisters and I, we were excited about coming to Florida!! The excitement I felt for weeks after the conversation, something beautiful to look forward too. Well needless to say, I share your sorrow and sadness, my heart is broken that it didn't happen I will always hold her near and dear to my heart. Thank you family for sharing the plans with us. Please reach out to us if we can do anything. God bless you all, we love you Vanessa Moulton Brown

Cousin Rosetta, My heart and my world has been crushed. You was such an inspiration to all. You fought a brave battle. I admired you strength, courage, will, and perseverance. It is an honor for you to be my first cousin. I always admired your beauty both inside and out. To my family: I know this time and the journey of grief will be a hard one. That is an understatement. But to bring comfort and solace to you is that she was loved by EVERYONE. Cherish the great memories she left. My cousin (first cousin), your mother, your grandmother, your daughter, your friend, your auntie, your sister, your godmother, and your stepmother is the Epitome of GREATNESS, I will not use "was" but "IS" cause her legacy will live for decades to come, so it will always be present and future tense. Thank you for being the person you was. You came from a awesome stock so it doesn't get any better than that. I love you cousin. I will sorely miss you. I still and will always keep your messages as a constant reminder that you are, was, and always will be greatness and most humble in my eyes. I love you so much. "Weeping may endure for a night , but joy cometh in the morning"-Psalms 30:5. Sleep peacefully and give all our family members a big ol' hug and kiss. You are free now. Love, The Langford Family

Rosetta.. Wow! I'm at a loss... Such a beautiful soul!! I considered Rosetta my work mom at DAPS. I was only 19 and the youngest person working there at the time. Rosetta was always kind, she spoke positive and encouraging words. She loved her family, especially her girls. When she walked in, she had a spirit that just lit up the room. She was a great influence to me, as I'm sure that she has been to many others. I'm glad that I was blessed with the opportunity to share some time with her. To the family, may God give you comfort and strength to get through this. My prayers are with you. My sincerest condolences, Terrence Billups

To my family!! I am deeply saddened by the loss of this precious Angel but I rejoice in knowing that she's resting in our Lord and Savior. She was such a beautiful person inside and out. She didn't meet a stranger and her heart was extremely big!! She can't be replaced but we all can take a page from her book and love and love hard. We love you Rosetta!!(Until we meet again) I pray for each and everyone of you all's covering, strength and understanding during this hour of bereavement. Virtual hugs family!!

My condolences to the family. I have not seen Rosetta in over 30 years but I will always remember her as a dutiful member of the military community. We were friends in Ft. Benning and in Germany. She had such a sweet, classy and fun loving spirit. Nothing would get her down. I know she will be surely missed by all who had the blessing of knowing her.
