Mr. Willie C Washington 86, of Unadilla GA entered into eternal rest on Friday May 22, 2020.

Graveside Services for Mr. Willie Washington 86 ,of Unadilla GA will be Friday May 29, 2020 at 12:00p.m. by immediate family only at the Mount Moriah Church Cemetery Unadilla.Public Visitation will be held Thursday May 28 from 3-6 p.m.

We are asking for everyone to practice social distancing and for no more than 3 or 5 people to assemble or congregate at a single given time.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.” Mr. Willie Charles Washington was born on June 26, 1933 to the parents of Fletcher and Inez Washington. Mr. Willie Charles Washington gained his wings on Friday, May 22, 2020 at Regency Hospital in Macon, GA. At an early age he embarked on his christian journey at Brown Chapel Baptist Church in Unadilla, GA before joining his late wife Janice Washington and family at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church and was a faithful member and served diligently. Willie C retired from Kmart and later worked at Drexel Chemicals of Cordele. Mr. Willie Charles Washington was joined in holy matrimony to Janice Christine Lawson on August 2, 1958. He is preceded in death by his wife(Janice Washington), parents(Fletcher and Inez), 7 brothers, 1 sister and 1 grandson(Michael Washington). He leaves behind to cherish his memories 2 loving daughters: Shirley Washington of Unadilla, GA and Gloria (Travis) Smith of Warner Robins, GA; two grandchildren: Cierra and Jessica Smith of Atlanta, GA; 1 great grandson Kieran Smith; three sisters: Mary Parker of Atlanta, GA, Ettie Mae(Jimmie Jones) of Atlanta, GA, and Ruth Ellen Carmichael of Atlanta, GA; sister in laws: Patricia(Dwight) Madison Bonds of Macon, GA, Andrea Lynn Frutrail of Hawkinsville, GA, Kathy(Kenneth) Williams of Albany, GA, Louise Washington of Atlanta, GA, Stephanie Washington of Atlanta, GA and Johnnie Kate of Unadilla, GA; brother in laws: William Lawson of Vienna, GA, Albert(Bonnie Ruth) Lawson of Macon, GA, MacArthur(Julia) Lawson of Unadilla, GA, Eddie(Joann)Lawson of Macon, GA, David Lawson of Unadilla, GA, Hamp(Ora Lee)Batten of Hawkinsville, GA, Davis Holt of Ontario, California, Leon of New York; a devoted cousin: Price(Rosa) Bryant; a host of devoted nieces and nephews and other relatives, beloved neighbors: Rosa Lawson and Susie Henry of Unadilla, GA; beloved friends: Truman(Margurite) Duhart of Warner Robins, GA, Eunice(Jeannie) McKenzie of Unadilla, GA , Ray Cannie of Macon, GA and Willie Mae Anderson of Unadilla, GA
