Tommie Lee Stallings

Mrs. Tommie Lee Graham Stallings was born January 30, 1923 to late Nellie “Sis” Simon Chism and Richard Graham in Lake Park, Georgia.

Tommie Lee attended Lowndes County Public School System. She joined St. Luke Freewill Baptist Church at an early age and attended regularly until her health failed.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Nellie Simon Chism and Richard Graham; her husband, J.C. Stallings; three sisters, Bobbie Lee Sanders Gardner, Clydie Mae Robinson Gandy and Mary Lou Robinson King.

On Saturday morning, May 23, 2020, the Lord called her to rest at the Langdale Hospice House.

She leaves to cherish her memories one devoted daughter, Rosa Stallings (Thomas); four sons, James C. Gardner, Mack F. Gardner, Sr. (Maxine), Johnny C. Stallings and a dedicated son, Arthur Gardner, Sr.; grandchildren, Mack F. Gardner, Jr., Jordon Gardner, Sr., Vanessa Wade (Doc, Jr.), Adrian Gardner, Cedric Gardner (Carol), Aurthur Gardner, Jr. (April), Devel Gardner, Chadwick Gardner, Valarie Stallings Norton (Peter), Lamont Day and Jarvis Stallings; great grandchildren, Jordon Gardner, Jr., Decoye Wade, Janecia Whitlock, Thomas Scarbrough III, Ayonna Gardner, Jamara Gardner, Caled Gardner, Makella Gardner and a devoted great grandson, Darius T. Stallings; great great grandchildren, Gabriella Brown, Isabella Whitlock, Calani Baker and Camille Baker; one sister, Vermie Grace Belton of Philadelphia, PA; two sister-in-laws, Lillie Mae Howard of Clyattville, GA and Ora Lee Pierce of Valdosta, GA; one brother-in-law, Curtis Lee of Jasper, FL; a special niece, Mamie Johnson; devoted friends, Libby Deavours of Lake Park, GA, Janice Ausburn of Cornelia, GA, Faye Lansdell of North Carolina and Ann Peterson of Lake Park, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowful relatives and friends.

A special thanks to the staff of Langdale Hospice House for all the wonderful care that was provided for our mother.

Graveside service will be held Saturday, May 30, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at the Odd Fellow Cemetery, Ocean Pond Avenue, Lake Park, GA. Rev. Billy T. Simon, officiating.
