Obituary For Ervin Fields

If I should go tomorrow It would never be goodbye, For I have left my heart with you, So don’t you ever cry. The love that’s deep within me, Shall reach you from the stars, You’ll feel it from the heavens, And it will heal the scars.

Mr. Ervin G. Field, affectionally called Peter Fields, age 86 of 114 Nathan Fields Road, Warrenton, North Carolina departed this life on Sunday, May 24, 2020 at his residence.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, May 31, 2020 a 2:00 PM at Boyd & Royster Funeral Services in Warrenton, North Carolina. Reverend Clarence Dale will officiate and burial will follow at Coley Spring Church Cemetery in Warrenton, North Carolina.

He leaves to cherish his memories; three daughters, Lynette F. Davis, Veronica F. Bullock (Carlton) both of Warrenton, North Carolina, and Edna F. Rajahn (Samad) of New York; three sons, Ikedo S. Fields of Butner, North Carolina, James Fields (Janice) of New York, Alfred Hyman (Patricia) of South Carolina; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; four special nieces, Hilda Southerland, LaVerne Fields, Mary Hargrove, and Cora B. Ragland; one sister, Esther P. Southerland of Warrenton, North Carolina; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The body will be on view at the funeral home Saturday, May 30, 2020 from 11:00 AM until 5:00 PM.
