He was a faithful member and Deacon at the Believer's Fellowship Assembly of God until his health began to decline.
Mr. Meadows retired from the Milliken Company Sycamore Plant after twenty-five years of dedicated service.
He was an avid NASCAR, Carolina Panthers and Atlanta Braves fan.
Left to cherish his memory are: his children, Mary (Vada) Williams of Moore, SC, Clifford (Wendy) Meadows, Jr. of Spartanburg, SC, Clementine (William) Huff of Decatur, GA, Vastyne (Randy) Dendy of Mauldin, SC, OJ Meadows of Belmont, NC, Alma (James) Miller and Ruby Payden both of Spartanburg, SC, Charlene (Michael) Drummond of Rock Hill, NC and Thomas (Connie) Waddell of Oceanside, CA; his twenty-four grandchildren; his thirty-two great-grandchildren; his loving sister, Ruthie (Joe) Nash of Roebuck, SC; his sister-in-law, Elizabeth Meadows of Roebuck, SC; his brother-in-law, Charles Waddell of Savannah, GA; his dedicated caregivers, Lisa Boozer, Angela Talley and Larry Jeffries; and a host of many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jeremiah and Paul Meadows.
“Pop” as he was affectionately known by many, was a loving husband, father, friend and a true man of God. He will be greatly missed.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 29, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in the Westwood Memorial Gardens, Moore, SC.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, attendance at the services are limited to immediate family only.
