Obituary For Henry E Wingard

Henry Earl Wingard was born October 14, 1954 to the union of Johnnie Wingard and Warren Brentley in Kosciusko, Mississippi.

Henry accepted Christ at an early age and was a faithful member of Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor H.L. Pennington.

Immediately after graduating from McAdams High School in Mississippi, Henry joined the United States Marine Corp. where he proudly served in the Vietnam War from 1973 to 1975 before being honorably discharged.

Henry was united in holy matrimony to Ferwini "Julie" Miller on November 22, 1995. To this union two children were born: La'Kyia and Justin.

Henry worked for the United States Postal Service for over 30 years before retiring and working part-time at Fed-Ex.

Henry loved his family and friends and was a fantastic husband and father. He always put his family first and is a hero to his children and grandchildren.

Henry leaves to cherish his loving memories, wife: Ferwini "Julie" Wingard; two children: La'kyia Wingard Woodard and Justin N. Wingard; three grandchildren: Diamon Minnion, Derrick Minnion and Davon Giving; one great grandchild; three brothers: Johnny W. Wingard, Charlie F. Wingard and Michael B. Wingard; three sister-in-laws: Priscilla Ann Greenwood, Amy Wingard and Madolyn Wingard; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
