This is my Grandma who I dearly love and miss! She watched my son (her great grandson) while I went to work and she shared a hilarious story with me about my son(they had chronicles of silly adventures). Everyday when the mail was checked it would be placed on the book shelf or the table in front of the window nook and she said that my son would always disappear shortly after the mail was brought in. She said ," He always goes in the kitchen and stays in there for a while and he goes to the same spot by the cabinet (when your first entering the kitchen), I don't know what he is doing, now he is going over to the couch everyday". Well one day she noticed him in his same routine of going in the kitchen but this time he did not stay in the kitchen and she decided to quietly observe him. What she noticed was unbelievable, she said, " He was trying to be sneaky and see if I saw him put the mail under the couch cushion". She was so surprised at his action because he was a young toddler 2 (barely, he still sucked on pacifiers) , that's what made it all so funny. Well, She decided to go in the kitchen to see what he had been doing in there and she found (if not hundreds) of pieces of mail that my son had stuffed behind her lower cabinet! She said, " He couldn't fit another piece of mail in there, so he had to find another spot" The couch. she went to the couch and looked under the cushion and there she found him starting a new stack of mail! LOL. this story is hysterical to me. Also everyday at 6pm at her house you had to cut Wheel of Fortune on..it was like a religious ceremony she would not miss! and btw it is 6 and my tv is on wheel of fortune and it brings back memories that just break my heart. I miss her everyday and I long to see her face and hear her voice again....but I know one day I will.
