Mr. John William Manns, age 68, of 331 Willis Pinnell Road, Norlina, NC departed this life on May 28, 2020 at Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina.

Mr. John William Manns will be on view to the public on Thursday, June 4, 2020 starting at 11:00 AM until 5:00 PM.

He leaves to cherish his memories; his loving wife, Phyllis Harris-Manns of the home; one daughter, Kidrika Nix of Arkansas and her children Amya, Anjeh, and Tru; one son, Demtris Blunt of New York and his daughter, Leilani; two sisters Susie Manns of Maryland, and Jennie Manns of New Jersey; one brother, Effen Manns of New Jersey; three aunts, Sadie Monroe of New Jersey, Rae Jerome of New York and Barbara Thompson of Connecticut; special cousin, Larry Hamilton of Connecticut; two special friends; Alfred Johnson and Stanley Johnson of Virginia; special thanks to Mary C. and David Lamont who is like a son and daughter as well; two god children, Kaleik, and Connetta; along with a host of nieces, and nephews.
