Don't cry for me now I have died, for I'm still here I'm by your side, My body's gone but my soul is here, please don't shed another tear, I am still here I'm all around, only my body lies in the ground. I am the snowflake that kisses your nose, I am the frost, that nips your toes. I am the sun, bringing you light, I am the star, shining so bright

Mrs. Shirley Ball-Brown, age 66, of 1573 US Highway 1 North, Norlina, NC departed this life on May 28, 2020 in Norlina, North Carolina.

Funeral arrangements will be conducted Saturday, June 6, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Boyd & Royster Funeral Services in Warrenton, North Carolina.

She leaves to cherish her memory; her children, Jonzetta Valentine (Finley) of Richmond, Virginia, Kareema Brown of Norlina, North Carolina, Iman Williams (Isaac) of Norlina, North Carolina; one god son, Jonathan Reid of Pottstown, Pennsylvania; her grandchildren Jaquan Valentine, Kadejha Valentine, Arianna Hyman-Brown, Kamaria Williams, Malia Hockaday, Eijah Stevenson, and Mekhi Brown; two brothers, James Ball, Jr., of Norlina, North Carolina, and Norman Ball (Martha) of San Diego, California; two sisters, Mytrice B. Warren (Dr. Elmore Jr. of Windsor Mill, Maryland and Geraldine Hawkins of North Carolina; one brother-in-law, Samuel White of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; one uncle, George Campbell (Deborah) of Norlina, North Carolina; devoted niece and nephew, Lisa Carter and Ronald Terry; along with a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The body will be on view at the funeral home on Friday, June 5, 2020 starting at 11:00 AM until 5:00 PM.
