Obituary For Selena Williams

Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Selena Marshay Williams will be privately held.

Selena Marshay Williams was born on September 24, 1983, in Tampa, FL to Gary and Loraine Valdez-Williams. She was educated in the Hillsborough County Public Schools and graduated from Hillsborough High School, Class of 2002. She was a member of the Rap Group called Military who produced the hit song, “All The Way Live". God gifted her with a beautiful angelic voice which she used in church, around the community and now she is singing in the heavenly choir. Selena worked at Verizon Wireless for 9 years before she began working for the United States Postal Service as a mail carrier, until her demise.

Selena grew up serving the Lord as a member of Faith Temple MB Church. She later became a faithful member of Revelation CMB Church where she served on the Praise Team, Women’s Mission and the GBR Choir.

Selena M. Williams departed this life on Wednesday, May 27, 2020, to be with the Lord.

She was preceded in death by her loving grandparents; Frank and Vellena Valdez and Randolph and Claire Mae Williams; Uncle/Aunt, Lewis and Frankye Jaudon.

Her memories will forever be treasured by her son, Soljah A. Anderson and his father, the love of her life Edward Anderson; devoted Mother, Loraine Valdez-Williams and Father, Gary Williams; brother, Troy Williams; Sister, Monica Burke; Three Aunts, Cinderella Valdez-Cuyler, Valerie Valdez, Loretta Robinson (Rev. GB Robinson); Five Uncles, Frank Valdez Jr, Tony Valdez Sr (Sandra), Alphonso Valdez Sr, Raymond Valdez Sr, and Randolph Williams Sr (Brenda); First Cousins, Lewis Jaudon Jr, Patrick Johnson, Alphonso Valdez Jr, Russell Johnson, Carlos Valdez, Raymond Valdez Jr, Terrance Williams, Randolph Williams Jr, Tony Valdez Jr, Eric Allen Jr, Angel Valdez, April Valdez, Tinnelle Wells, Tonya Valdez, Tawanda Valdez, Kimberly Pierre, Valmeka Williams, Tiffany James, Brittany Valdez, Marissa Martin, Chandra Valdez. She also leaves to mourn a host of other family members, friends and co-workers.

Public Viewing will be held on Friday, June 5, 2020 at Integrity Funeral Services, 3822 E. 7th Avenue, Tampa, Florida from 12:00 noon until 8:00 p.m. Guidelines set forth by the CDC are still in effect during this time.
