Obituary For Arthur Wilson, III

Graveside services for Mr. Arthur Wilson, III, 42, will be 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2020, at Mt. Pilgrim Church Cemetery. Pastor Van T. Welch will officiate. Visitation will be 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 5, 2020, at the funeral home.

Mr. Arthur Wilson, III began life’s journey on Saturday, September 30, 1977, to the union of Arthur Wilson, Jr. and Sybil Denise Reynolds in Talladega, Alabama.

Mr. Wilson confessed Christ as his Lord and Savior and united with Bethel Baptist Church in Albion, Michigan. He was a graduate of Talladega High School. Arthur was employed with Kasai North America. On Thursday, July 3, 2014, Arthur and the former Torquilla F. Griffin were united in holy matrimony.

On the Tuesday, June 2, 2020, Arthur began his eternal journey at his residence after a valiant fight. He was preceded in passing by his parents, Arthur Wilson, Jr. and Sybil D. Reynolds; grandparents, Arthur Wilson and Ada Mae Wilson; and a sister, Deldria Denise Wilson.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his caring wife, Torquilla F. Wilson of Talladega, Alabama; his grandmother, Martha B. Reynolds of Talladega, Alabama; three sons, Ardarius Wilson, Kenswaylen J. Griffin, Sr. and Jaylon T. Jackson of Talladega, Alabama; one grandchild, Kenswaylen J. “K-Bug” Griffin, Jr.; three sisters, Harietta Reynolds of Talladega, Alabama, Osha Harmon and Shawanna Harmon of Panama City, Florida; three aunts, Susan Scales, Linda Gail Wilson and Lillian Wilson; two uncles, Eddie Wilson and Jack Wilson; mother-in-law, Elizabeth Griffin of Talladega, Alabama; special cousins, Sidney Scales, III, Stanley Scales and Amy Scales; a special nephew, Sidney Reynolds; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
