Obituary For Frank Jefferson, III

Frank Jefferson, III was born in Osceola, Arkansas March 1, 1949 to Frank and Earnestine Brown Jefferson. He was of the Baptist Faith, serving as Chairman of the Deacon Board, a member of the Male Chorus, and past Sunday School Superintendent at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church. Frank was a 1970 graduate of Richard B. Harrison High School where he excelled in sports, especially track and field. He was employed at YRC Freight. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Martha, and one sister, Nodie Mae Turner. He passed away Tuesday June 2, 2020 at his home at the age of 71. Frank leaves to forever treasure his memories, two daughters, Felisa Jefferson of the home, Sharonda (Wiley) Thompson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; a granddaughter, Brianna Jefferson also of the home, five brothers, Robert (Emma) Jefferson of Blytheville, Arkansas; Gus (Dawnette) Jefferson of Flint, Michigan; Gale Jefferson of Jonesboro, Arkansas; Ernest ( Earnestine) Jefferson of Blytheville, Arkansas; and Harvey (Sylvia) Jefferson also of Blytheville, Arkansas; one sister, Loisstine Donaldson of Blytheville, Arkansas; God parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Ford of Blytheville, Arkansas; God sister, Armetris Ford also of Blytheville, Arkansas; four bonus grandchildren, nine bonus great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A walk-through visitation will be held Saturday, June 6, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 1630 West Street, Blytheville, Arkansas. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday June 7, 2020 at 2:00 p.m.St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, Pastor Bennie Washington will deliver the eulogy with burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. In accordance with the State of Arkansas COVID-19 guidelines, the practice social distancing of 6-feet will be observed. Face masks are required to be worn by all family and friends attending the visitation and services. McDonald-Horne Funeral Home is in charge of services and arrangements.
