Obituary For Virginia Turner

VIRGINIA B. TURNER was born on March 10, 1928 in Covington, Kentucky to the late Robert Givens Turner and Orah Bell Miller-Turner. She entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 31, 2020. Virginia was a graduate of Old Lincoln High School Class of 1946 Stanford, Kentucky. She professed her love for Christ at an early age and was baptized at Boneyville Baptist Church where she worked faithful doing the work of the Lord. She was formally employed at Phillip Morris Tobacco Company for 10 years.

Virginia was proceeded in death by her sister Freda Grisby and her brother Henry Adam Turner.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Wendell V. (Nina) Turner, Pontiac, MI, Tony (Marlene) Turner, Atlanta, GA and JoAnn (DeVonn) Cozart; Indianapolis, IN; sisters, Airy Lee Turner and Addie Jane Turner-Gooch; five grandchildren, Jacobia Coulter, James Lenoir, Wendell V. Turner, II, Amaya Cozart and Israel Cozart; 3 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Private Funeral Service was held at Smith-Jackson Funeral Home 446 Bate Street, Danville, KY Friday, June 7, 2020 with burial in Simpson Cemetery, Community of Boneyville in Stanford, KY.
