My husband and I are sorry for the pain you are feeling. In the Bible, John 11:17, 33-35 states Jesus gave way to tears, even though he knew that he was about to resurrect Lazarus. Jesus' tears confirmed his love for Lazarus' family-Mary and Martha. Though at this time, I can't help but feel that if Jesus was currently on earth, he would have the same tears for your loved one as he did for Lazarus.
