Obituary For Mrs. LaQuanda Briggman Thomas

Private funeral services will be held for Mrs. LaQuanda Briggman Thomas, 39, of 769 Garrett Way, Columbia, SC.

Mrs. LaQuanda Shanta’ Briggman Thomas was given to us by God on February 3, 1981 in Orangeburg, South Carolina. She went home to be with the Lord on June 6, 2020. She was the daughter of the late Staff Sargent Robert Lee Pauling and Cynthia Wannamaker.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Daniel (Delores) Briggman and Mrs. Annie Mae Bellinger Pauling.

LaQuanda leaves to cherish her fond memory her husband, James Thomas of the home; five children: Jahaitian Thomas, Raniyah Briggman, Kirie Robinson, and Robert Robinson all of the home and Aarinlyn Thomas of Bamberg, SC; her mother and step-father, Cynthia (Obbie) Wannamaker; four sisters: Tamekia Briggman of Queens, NY, Raysheya Pauling of Lithonia, GA, Oprah Wannamaker of Columbia, SC and Justice (Javonte) Truewell of Orangeburg, SC; two aunts: Laverna (Richard) Fuller of Columbia, SC and Frances Butler of Orangeburg, SC; three uncles: Larry (Teressa) Briggman of Lawrenceville, GA, Larry Pauling of Orangeburg, SC and James Bellinger of Terry, FL; three nephews: Omori Briggman and Chaise Truewell both Orangeburg, SC and Keysan Lynn of Lithonia, GA; three nieces: Ajanae Lynn of Lithonia, GA and Adaya & Angel Briggman of Rowesville, SC; maternal great-grandmother, Mrs. Lille Salley of Orangeburg, SC; father and mother-in-law, Mr. & Mrs. Eric (Ora Mae) Thomas; three sisters-in-law: Erica, Ashley and Patrice all of Bamberg, SC; two brothers-in-law: Aastin and Bryton Thomas of Bamberg, SC; and a host of other loving relatives and dear friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 12, 2020 from 2:00pm – 7:00pm.
