Private funeral services will be held for Mrs. Oneida Anderson, 99, of 1149 Eutaw Street, Orangeburg, SC.

Mrs. Anderson passed away Saturday, June 6, 2020 at her residence.

Mrs. Oneida Anderson, the daughter of late Mitchell Ferguson and Wilimina Gova, was born on February 27, 1923 in Larchmont, New York City.

She married Harold Walker and together they shared two children the late Sandra Leah Walker and baby Harold Walker who she survived in Life. Oneida was a bar mate in Harlem New York as well as a Mental Counselor for Willowbook Hospital for over 50 years. She was classy, fancy and fierce. She was a woman who stood by her very own values and morals. After retirement she spent her days playing spades each and every day with friends inside of her neighborhood park. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Walker; and two grandsons; Dwayne Walker and Melvin Walker.

She leaves to cherish fond memories, one sister, Dorothy Mae; six grandchildren: Iris Walker, Oneida Walker, Donna Walker, Brenda Walker, Anthony Harold Walker, and Damon Bailey; 35 Great-grandchildren, and numerous great-great grand children; and a host of other loving relatives and dear friends.

There will be no public viewing.
