John Lee Wilson, affectionately known as “John Base” age 51, Happy Birthday, departed this earthly life on Monday, June 9, 2020 at McLeod Medical Center in Dillon, South Carolina due to a long term illness. John was born in Dillon County, South Carolina on June 6, 1969 to the late Kelly and Emma L.Wilson. He attended the Dillon County Public Schools and after graduation, received a certificate in Brick Masonry and Construction. He worked for several companies in the surrounding areas for over fifteen years before he became disabled.

John was preceded in death along with his parents: James Kelly Davis, Emma Lee Davis, Kelly Davis and two great great nephews: Rakeen and Alex Jones.

John leaves to cherish his fond and loving memories ~ his wife of ten years: Claretha Alford of the home; his grandchildren: I’yanie, La’Promise, La’Cham; brothers and sisters: Ella Davis, Emmer (Henry) McDuffie, David Wilson, Kelly Wilson all of Rowland, NC; daughters: Samantha {Hurdist} McLean and Jasmine Alford; nieces and nephews: William (Kalisha) Davis, John Wilson, Joshua Wilson, Janie Wilson, Raheen Davis, Antonio Wilson, Sonya Wilson, Lisa Wilson, Adrian Wilson, James Corey Davis, Aumbre Wilson, Tityonna, Shakeem, Keyonna, Shaniya, Marian, Kelly, Larcisa, Neveah, Mantae, Jamal, Jaleah, Aaliyah, Jeremicn, Isiah, Jordan, Anajah, Kaydence, Serenity; great nieces and nephews: Asia, Mariah, Shaniah and a host of other relatives and friends.
