A walk thru viewing is 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM Friday at Oscar's Mortuary, Inc.

A private service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 20, 2020 at Star of Zion M. B. Church 701 Miller St. The interment will follow at New Bern Memorial Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Fortune of the home; three sons, Jarrin Midgett of New Bern, NC, Darrin Midgett of Raleigh, NC, Mark Fortune, Jr. of New Bern, NC; one daughter, Shanecka Fortune of Gresham SC; one brother, Richard Fortune of Raeford, NC; four sisters, Sharee Fortune of Marion, SC, Kimberly Fortune of Orange, NJ, Dr. Rajade Berry-James (Milton) of Cary, NC, and Iola Legette of Detroit, MI
