Mr. Marcus Tyrone Taylor, Sr.

Augusta, GA—Mr. Marcus Tyrone Taylor, Sr., entered into rest Wednesday, June 10, 2020.

Marcus accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Harmony Baptist Church.

Marcus was preceded in death by his son, Jaquez T. Taylor, and father, Micheal Sharpton Marcus leaves to cherish his memory, his loving and devoted wife, Mrs. Qunitte P. Taylor; two sons, Marcus T. and Marquez A. Taylor; and one daughter, Malaysia T. Taylor all of Augusta, GA; his mother, Mrs. Caroline Taylor; two sisters, Shanrika Taylor and Kenyetta Taylor; one brother, Eric T. Taylor all of Augusta, GA; mother-in-law, Mrs. Tammy Simmons; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Je'Quan & Shaun Dunn of Columbia, SC; one niece, and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, June 20, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. from Southview Cemetery, 1102 Nellieville Road, Elder Anthony Prince, eulogist.

Public visitation will be held Friday, June 19, 2020 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the mortuary. All CDC guidelines concerning masks and social distancing will be observed.
