Obituary For David Bruce Sewell

David Bruce Sewell, age 62, of Athens, GA passed June 9, 2020.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at East Lawn Memorial Cemetery.

Survivors include: his daughter, Monica Sewell; two grandchildren; two sisters, Effie (William) Amos and Lucille Dean; host of nieces and nephews; two sisters in law, Luellen Sewell and Rosa Sewell; and three special friends, Phil Hampton, Charlie Jones and Deloris Sewell.

I am sorry to hear of the passing of David. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family as I know he will be missed. David worked with a group of us at the Athletic Department when we all set up for the UGA football games. I will always remember the kindness, friendliness, and fun that we had together. I and others that worked with him will always remember David with some of the fondest and fun times that we had while doing our job. (David we will miss you and know that you are in good hands. Thank you for being you and honoring all of us by knowing you.
