Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 20, 2020 at 12:00 noon from Old Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery,Troy Highway. The body will lie in state at the church at 11:00 a.m. for viewing until graveside services. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife, Mrs. Julia McBride; five sons, Marion Frazier, Bronx, NY; Anthony J. McBride, New York; Wendell LaRon and Reginald Lashawn Sawyer, Montgomery, AL; grandchildren: LaRon Keunta Sawyer and Al Reginald Sawyer, Montgomery, AL; three brothers, Larry (Mary Nell) McBride, Jerry McBride, Tony McBride, Troy, AL; one sister, Louise Carter, Detroit, MI; three brothers-in-law, Henry Wesley and Thomas (Patsy) Sawyer, Pine Level, AL; Willie Frank Sawyer, Montgomery, AL; seven sisters-in-law, Rosa (Charles) Austin, Detroit, MI; Bertha (Willie James) Fannins, Montgomery, AL; Jessica (Baker) Cargill, Montgomery, AL; Pearl (Waymon) Bell, Columbus, GA; Ruby (Glen) Davis, Montgomery, AL; Alice (Ellis) Franklin, Montgomery, AL: two devoted nieces, Veronica King, Montgomery, AL and Latoya Dailey, Troy, AL; a host of nieces, nephews and devoted friends.
