Obituary For Delove Redd

Delove Redd, Jr., 69 of Blytheville passed away at his home on June 14, 2020. He was born September 24, 1950 in Marks, Mississippi and was the son of Delove and Pankie Newmy Redd. Delove worked at the Blytheville School District for 28 years in the Maintenance Department. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, James Watson, Jr., Worn Lee Watson, Tommy Watson, and Wendel Lark and one sister, Martha Mae Newmy. Delove leaves to cherish his memories his son, Delove (Tametha) Redd, III of Gosnell, Arkansas; two step sons, Byron (Jackie) Washington of Blytheville, Arkansas and Michael (Katy) Washington of Fort Worth, Texas; two brothers, Gene Lark of Chicago, Illinois; and Ulysses (Jackie) Redd of Dallas, Texas;tow children that Delove raised as his children, Marcus Mosley of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas and Rosalind Handy of Cordova, Tennessee; 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 27, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at St. James Words of Faith Ministry, 300 North Ruddle Road. Bishop Theodis Rucker is the pastor and will deliver the eulogy. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Gardens Cemetery. In accordance with the State of Arkansas COVID-19 guidelines, the practice social distancing of 6-feet will be observed. Face masks are required to be worn by all family and friends attending funeral service.
