Obituary For Myra Faye Bonds Coleman

MRS. MYRA FAYE BONDS COLEMAN – AGE 62, - Of Rossville, Georgia and formerly of Dalton, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2020. She was a member of True Gospel Pentecostal Church and retired as a CNA from Ridgewood Manor Nursing Home. She was preceded by her father, Fletcher Bonds, Mother, Dorothy Bonds, and husband, Alvin Coleman.

She is survived by her siblings, Gloria (Lane) Palmer, Ethel Austin, Charles (Evang. Diane Bonds, Wanda (Eddie) Nicholson, and Linda Bonds; special friend, Gene Brown; stepdaughters, Wanda Ballew, Sue Coleman, Marie McCarthy, Donna Henry; seven step grandchildren, six step great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Homegoing Celebration will be on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at 1:00 P. M. at True Gospel Pentecostal Church, 109 Henderson Street, Dalton, Georgia 30721, with Bishop Reuben Graham officiating. Her remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Monday after 11:00 A. M. and the family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 – 7:30 P. M. Interment, United Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.

I got to know Myra working with her at Ridgewood. There I learned she was married to my cousin Al Coleman. She was so good to the residents . I become fond of her Bbq ribs and she learned I made old fashioned banana puddings. I made them for her husband on Fridays.It was a blessing to have gotten to know her. Lynda Allen
