Obituary For Mitchell Brock

Mr. Mitchell Brock, 82, of Deland, FL was born in Orange, Georgia to Lesley and Fannie Lou Brock on October 18, 1937. He was known to everyone as “West” and he was a native of Flagler County for many years before relocating to Deland, Florida. West was employed at ATT Sawmill for over 25 years and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Evelyn Colson, Elizabeth Brock, and Beverly Cooper, His brothers, Earnest Brock, Lynn Brock, and his niece Nekea.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife Mrs. Nettie Brock, Sons – Tommy Johnson, Mitchell Brock, Shawn Brock, Lenny Hudson, Sisters- Eva May Brock, Mary Brock, Ruth Brock, Virginia Davis, Mary Lawrence, Stella Davis, Diane Brown(Roosevelt), Mary Lou Cooper(Samuel), Dorothy Neal, Annette Davenport, Maxine Grant(Calvin), Betty Tape, and Rosa Baldwin. Brothers- Preston Brock, Jerry Tape. Best Friends- Dwight Hubbert and Alfred Pearson, and a host of loving grandkids, great grands, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

The Homegoing Celebration will be 2:30p.m. Saturday, June 27, 2020 at Church on the Rock in Bunnell, FL. The burial will be in Masonic Cemetery, Palm Coast, FL.
