Obituary

Mr. William Henry Palmore Jr. began his life journey on July 31, 1946 to the late Mr. William Henry Palmore Sr., Grant Crawford, and Mrs. Ollie Williamson Palmore of Griffin, GA.

He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and united with True Faith Revival Center in Gadsden, AL.

Mr. Palmore attended school in the Gadsden City School System.

He had a passion for fishing, listening to music and playing his guitar and he was a die-hard Alabama fan.

On Tuesday, June 16, 2020, God knew it would be a big day for William. His probationary status on this earth ended and his permanent reign with his Lord and Savior began.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Wife, Aletheia Palmore; Son, William Henry Meadows; Sisters, Marynelle Watts, Annie Clara Miller and brother, Sonney Crawford.

William leaves to cherish his memories: Daughter, Arma Norris of Albertville, AL, Cynthia (Pounkcome) Ragland, Janetta (Ronald) Meadows, and Latoyia McKee. Sons, Chezaray Palmore and Kennedy Palmore. Step-Daughter, Felecia Payne. Step-Son, James Payne. Sisters; Lynn Crawford, Evette (Patrick) Crawford and Loriene McCluskey of Gadsden, Al. Brother in laws; Franklin Wyatt and James Payne. Grandchildren: Desiree Mostella, Jan’Toria Mitchell, Joseph Palmore, LeRoy Ansley Jr., April & Gary Dunn, Keyata Ragland, James Meadows, Angel Malone, Richard Meadows, Joegina ( Woodrow) Meadows, Shamar Hunt, Keshonia Ragland, Precious Meadows, Krystal Wells, Princess Meadows, Davion Meadows, Lashundra Brown, Kenny Malone, and Jay Hunter, all of Gadsden, AL and 31 great-grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Special friends; Ronnie Watts and Robbey Billingsley that he loved so much.

Homegoing services will be Saturday, June 20, 2020 at the Mission Baptist Church 3:30pm. Visitation: Friday, 11am-6pm. Eulogist: Reverend Roderick Thomas. Cremation services will follow.
