Had to find the strength somewhere to post this. I missed my Dad dearly. He was like my bestfriend and mentor. He left me with a lot of knowledge to make it in this world. And it will be forever cherished. Thanks for all the great comments! LLW

I grew up with Mr. Henry daughters and they always made me feel welcomed and treated me with love growing up. Mr. Henry was a great father and grandfather. He always had a positive attitude and made me laugh. I would call his daughter Toya on the phone and she would have him on three way with us and we would have fun conversations with him. He will truly be missed. I pray for strength for the family.- Kimberly Martin-Glass

I grew up with Henry and lived 2 houses away from him on 14th street. We played neighborhood football basketball and baseball. Henry was always a top notch competitor and always was positive in his believe that he could win and that he was the best. This believe extended into any game even ones that he had never played before. One day I told him that I had taken up chess and he challenged me to many games a won a few. He was a good chess play for a person that spent little time studying the game. I say this as I went on to be the first black junior chess champion of Mississippi. His sprit of I can do anything and do it well was key factor in my development as an army officer and my sprit that I can accomplish anything in this life. To his family I loved Henry as a brother. I wish all the best. Hopefully in the future we can meet. I was privileged to have have share time with Henry. Lieutenant Colonel Eric R Crawley
