Obituary For Bernard Harden

Services for Bernard Harden, 64, of Goldsboro, NC were held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 5, 2020 at Allendale Community Funeral Home with Pastor Mary Morell officiating.

Mr. Bernard Harden, affectionately known as “Mail Man”, was born in Allendale, South Carolina on March 2, 1956 to the late Ben Harden and Odessa Rouse. He was reared by Wesley Harden and Mayetta Harden.

At a young age, he joined and was baptized at Magdalene Christian Church in Allendale, South Carolina. Bernard was educated in the public schools of Allenale County. He worked for various families and businesses as a landscaper after moving to Goldsboro, North Carolina.

He entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro, North Carolina.

He leaves to cherish his fond memories, his children: Demetrius Rhodes of Allendale, SC and Rachel Daniels of Aiken, SC; two sisters: Joyce Harden of Allendale, SC and Gwen Koger of Walterboro, SC; seven grandchildren; and a host of other loving relatives and caring friends.
