Obituary For Mack H. Peak, Jr.

Mr. Mack Henry Peak, 55, of Palatka, FL was born January 9, 1965 in Belle Glade, Florida to the late Mack Henry Peak Sr. and Estella Mae Crowley. He attended Duval County Public Schools. Mack was married to his devoted wife Carolyn Lorraine Howell-Peak for 29 years. He worked as a security guard for many years before becoming self- employed as an all-around handyman. Mack was a faithful member of New Mt. Zion Baptist Church, where he was ordained as a Minister in 1991. Mack Peak as family and friend always referred to him by his whole name departed his life June 16, 2020.

He was preceded in death by his father Mack Henry Peak Sr.

Mack Peak leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife; Carolyn Lorraine Howell-Peak. Children; Maria Peak (Tietgen) of Jacksonville, Florida, Kendra Dubois of Jacksonville, Florida, Renee Williams (Greg) of Jacksonville, Florida, Tracy Howell (Joshua) of Jacksonville, Florida , Mack Peak III and Angel Peak, 21 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, Parents; Estella and Henry of Jacksonville, Florida. James and Blanche Howell (in laws) Brothers; Thomas Peak (Yolanda) of St. Mary’s, GA, Gregory Peak (Keyda) of Houston, Texas, Brother in law; Gary Howell (Sharon) of St. Augustine, Florida Sisters; Tina Johnson of Jacksonville, Florida, Mona Sanders (Tavares) of Pinetta, Florida, Sister in law Lana Harris, Uncle; Riley Crowley (Toni), Aunts; Barbara Verdell, Betty Eubanks, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The Family will receive friends and the community from 6:00p.m. - 7:00p.m. on Friday, June 26, 2020 at Christ Witness Church, Presiding Bishop Samuel L. Green, Sr. The Homegoing Celebration will be 1:00p.m. Saturday, June 27, at Christ Witness Church. Mack Peak final resting place will be in Pattersonville Cemetery, East Palatka, FL.
