Obituary For Bobby Hue Wilson

Graveside services for Mr. Bobby Hue Wilson, 73, will be 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 28, 2020, at Oak Hill Cemetery. Pastor James L. Curry will officiate. Visitation will be 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2020.

Mr. Bobby Hue Wilson began this life on Wednesday, May 21, 1947, to the union of Sheppie Wilson and Lovell Fuller Wilson in Sycamore, Alabama.

Mr. Wilson was a member of Faith Temple Ministries under the leadership of Pastor James L. and Co-Pastor Cathy Curry. He attended school in Sycamore and was a graduate of Westside High School. Bobby was employed with Charles Calhoun, Crown Textile and Tape Craft Corporation. He enjoyed fishing in her spare time. On November 6, 1969, Bobby and the former Esther Nell Wills were united in holy matrimony and remained in covenant until her passing on March 17, 2012.

On Tuesday, June 23, 2020, Mr. Wilson began his life in eternity at St. Vincent’s East. He was preceded in passing by his wife, Esther Nell Wilson; his parents, Sheppie and Lovell Wilson; and a brother, Parnell Wilson.

He leaves to cherish his memories: four daughters, Karen D. Wilson, Sharon D. (Raleek) Wilson-Sutton, Pamela J. Wilson and Stefanie Wilson all of Talladega, Alabama; five grandchildren, Jesaiah Lumpkin, Stephon Lumpkin, Rihanna Sutton, Tobijah Lumpkin and Aiden Wilson; two sisters, Annette G. Swain of Talladega, Alabama and Ruth E. Clopton of Birmingham, Alabama; one brother, Terry W. (Mary) Wilson of Talladega, Alabama; a sister-in-law, Mary (Mickey) Twymon of Talladega, Alabama; a brother-in-law, Paul (Ida) Wills of Talladega, Alabama; two Godchildren, Rasheida Sadie Storey and Radarius A. Storey; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
