Obituary For Lisa Christine Burhannan

Lisa Christine Burhannan, 50, of Brown St., Harrisburg, transitioned into eternal life on Thursday, June 11 at UPMC Pinnacle Community Osteopathic Hospital. She was born in Harrisburg, daughter of Thomas Spriggs and the late Carolyn Burhannan Harris, a graduate of Harrisburg High School, attended HACC, an employee of Harrisburg School District as a Para Professional, an Assistant Chaplain at UPMC Pinnacle Hospitals and Dauphin Co. Prison, a Voice for Crime Victims and their Fanilies, as a First Responder with the Harrisburg Police Dept., former president of Mothers’ In Charge, Regional Director for Crime Surviors For Safety and Justice and an Elder at Kingdom Embassy Church. In addition to her Mother, Lisa was preceded in death by her son, Darrell Evans, Jr. and her brother, Carl Burhannan. She leaves to celebrate her life, her daughter, Auchae Del-Rae Burhannan; her son, Jue’Vour Burhannan; her father, Deacon Thomas Spriggs (Doris); her siblings, Gina Johnson and Husband, Tina Darden,, Dawn Bonner, Lauboria Spriggs-Robinson, Crystal Spriggs Mitchell (Maurice), Esther Spriggs-Glover (Maurice), Ginel Spriggs, Tommi Spriggs, Thomas Counts, Yolanda Jones, Titian Franklin, Thomas Burhannan (Sandra), Brandon O’Brien, Eugene Spriggs, Jamien Harvey (Kyla), Jai-Michael Hudson and Kerry Harvey (Ruth); her four grandchildren, My’Lehha, Da’Ryan, Kamerin and Ja’Dour and a host of other relatives and friends. Her life will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 20th at the Bandshell in Reservoir Park, Harrisburg with viewing from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. Followed by burial in William Howard Day Cemetery. Covid 19 guidelines will be observed with masks and six foot distancing for all attendees. Arrangements entrusted to the Ministry of Comfort of Major H.
