Obituary For Ocie Lee Brummell

OCIE LEE BRUMMELL was born on Tuesday, November 4, 1947 in Opelika, Alabama to the late Mattie Lee Lillie and the late Robert Lillie, Sr. Ocie loved the Lord with all her heart. She attended Life Center in 1992. She enjoyed reading the Holy Bible and would wake up every day between 4:00 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. reading the Bible, writing in her journal and listening to God and what he was saying to her and you better not disturb her during this time. She would not answer the phone or door during prayer time with God. She loved interceding for her children, all her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, their husbands and wives, neighbors and whoever else needed prayer. She loved worshiping the Lord! Ocie also loved family time and get togethers at her house. If you weren’t getting along at that time she didn’t care. By the time you walked through her front door everyone would be laughing and joking with each other. We are a close family and stick together no matter what. Mom loved this. She always said cast all your cares upon the Lord. Put all your trust in God and not man, man will fail you God will never leave you. She also loved watching TBN. On Saturday, May 30, 2020, Ocie Lee Brummell, at the age of 72 years, 6 months and 27 days, transitioned into eternal life at her home in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin S. Brummell, Sr.; her children, Malcom Brummell and Mark Brummell; her brothers, Moses Lillie, Robert Lillie, Jr. and John D. Rockerfeller Lille; her sisters, Molly M. Henderson and Ella R. Geathers.
