Minister Mary Ann Scott Jenkins departed this life on June 10, 2020 in Morven, GA. She was born on October 7, 1951 to the late Allen Scott and Emma Bellamy Scott in Barney, GA. In 1970, she graduated from Washington High School in Quitman. She worked at Ithaca Textiles in Quitman, GA for 20 years, before ending her career in retail management for Dollar General in Morven, GA. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Morven.
She leaves to cherish her memories three sons, Nicky Jenkins, San Juan Capistrano, CA, Derrick (Melissa) Jenkins, Quitman, GA, Lomax (Jessica) Jenkins, Valdosta, GA; and only daughter, Shannon (Damon) Manning, Valdosta, GA and host of grandchildren, relatives and friends.
Private services were held Saturday, June 20, 2020 at Pineview Cemetery with Pastor Daniel Lawton officiating. Condolences may be made at stevensmcgheefuneralhome.com Stevens-McGhee Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
