Obituary For Mr.Ludy " Clyde" Easterling

Mr. Ludy Clyde Easterling, was born in Greenville, Alabama on August 23, 1958. He exchanged this life on Tuesday, June 23, 2020.

Clyde is preceded in death by his parents, Mrs. Elser L. Crenshaw Easterling Ridgeway, mother and Mr. Joe C. Easterling, father.

Clyde attended John Shaw High School, in the class of 1976. He was a kind, gentle, quiet person with a loving spirit. He enjoyed the simple things of life such as eating Popeye's chicken, red beans and rice as well as watching Western televisions shows. Clyde is known to many as “DAP’ and “MANDINGO WARRIOR”. Also, his favorite phrases are “DANGER” and “POP GOES THE WEASEL”

Cherished memories of Clyde will remain with his family; three loving sisters and four brothers: Laura Easterling and Lavern (Jerome) Flott, Mobile, AL and Loletha Dailey, Miami, FL; Leon (Brandi) Easterling, Nelson (Alexis) Easterling, Pastor Roy (Loretta) Ridgeway, Jr., Jessie( Jacqueline) Ridgeway, all of Mobile, AL; two aunts, Sallie M. Crenshaw and Jewel Peterson, Albion, MI; one uncle, C. Arthur Crenshaw, Jackson, MI; a host of dedicated nieces and nephews, Sedrick (Daphney), Lauren, Montrez, Mia, Mariah, Brandon, Makya, Macy, and Joseph Easterling. Mikael and Michael Flott; Alia, Jerek, Crystal Ridgeway; Joann (Andre) Preyer, Tamekia Bedgood and the late Nelson Ray Bedgood, Brandy (William) Watson, Latanya (Brandon) Mitchell, Leon and Timothy McCall, Terrence Travis. He also will be remembered by his special friend, Tomeka Fancher. Clyde also had numerous relatives, friends, and acquaintances who will also miss him greatly.

Funeral Services are set for 11AM on Thursday July 2, 2020 from the Bell- Miller Memorial Chapel of Samuel L. Jackson Mortuary, Ltd 271 North Cody Rd. Interment will follow in Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens.
