Obituary For Ms. Karen Little

Karen Little gained her wings on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at WFBH High Point Medical Center. She was born April 13, 1972 to the late Olivia Turner and was blessed to be reared in life by the late Gerald Turner. She was also preceded in death by her brother, David Wall and her grandfathers, Luke Little and Lonnie Miller.

Karen graduated from High Point City Schools. While attending school, she participated in The Special Olympics where she won many awards. Karen was a member of Williams Memorial C.M.E. Church.

She loved milk, music, dancing and could always be found with a smile on her face. While she could not speak verbally, she expressed herself through actions and had a genuine nature.

Karen leaves to cherish her legacy of love and precious memories to her sister, Sharon “Popeye” Little of the home; a loving nephew, Nasir Lebron Dunlap; her grandmother, Pearline Miller; two brothers, Keith Hunt and Jason Wall; two aunts, Dianne Artis and Princess Renee Miller; three uncles, William B. Little, Roger Little all of High Point, NC and Michael Isley of Greensboro, NC; loving cousins that adored her, Michelle Little, Sonya McCormick, Daeshaun, Shamar, Alany, Elias and Bobby; a special brother, Eddie Dunlap; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A private funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel. Interment will follow at Guilford Memorial Park. Ms. Little may be viewed on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
