Deacon Thomas Wesley Hargrove, Jr., age 68, formerly of Warren County, North Carolina departed this life on June 30, 2020.

The Celebration of Life for immediate family will be held on Sunday, July 5, 2020 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Boyd & Royster Funeral Services. The Reverend Tony W. Cozart of Cooks Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Warrenton, North Carolina will officiate and Brother Walter McKinley, Jr of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church of Columbus, Ohio will deliver the eulogy. Burial will follow in the Cooks Chapel Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Warrenton, North Carolina.

Deacon Hargrove leaves to cherish his memory: his beautiful wife of 47 years, Rev. Charlotte McKinley Hargrove of the home; his daughters, Trista L. Hargrove of Waldorf, Maryland and To’Wes Hargrove Forster (Aaron) of Camp Springs, Maryland; his son, Thomas W. Hargrove III of Waldorf, Maryland; his grandson, Tyler A. Forster; his granddaughter, Alyssa T. Forster; two sisters, Eunice Hargrove Royster (Clarence) of Warrenton, North Carolina and Constance Hargrove Davis of Wise, North Carolina; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and godchildren, as well as special friend to the family Luther (Trey) Hamilton.

Deacon Hargrove may be viewed to the public on Saturday, July 4, 2020 from 12 noon until 5:00pm in the chapel of Boyd & Royster Funeral Services.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we ask that you come and pay your final respects to Deacon Hargrove and to his entire family during the visitation hours because of the attendance limits we have of 50 people or less for the funeral service.
