Daddy, this Gearod, we still can laugh as we mourn especially about when you & mama was going to that Dr's appointment in Kinston on that bumpy road as you had that head down not looking at the road but said "Grandma don't miss naam"! "Hit every one!"

Daddy, you have completed your course & purpose in this world with honor & humility, being true to the time you were given. I respect the authority that you embraced as being true in being a man. Through it all you maintained your God given ability to celebrate life after making sure your house was kept & shared with us the gift of being a man, I'm very proud to have lived knowing that you loved us so that you would give anything even your limbs to spend more time with us. That alone let's me know love is better lived than said. I am because of God loving me personally through you!

Our family is sad to hear about the passing of Mr. Furney Mundine sr. Although we never got to meet Mr. Mundine we did meet his son. His son is respectful, kind, and loves Catherine Moses, a daughter and sister. The apple surely does not fall far from the tree. When you care about someone, never speak of them in pass tense so that it keeps them alive in our hearts and minds. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." (Revelation 21:4)

It with a sad heart and heartfelt memories to hear of the death of Uncle Furney. Words can not express how sad we are to hear this news. Uncle Furney was not a man of many words, but I will never forget after church when he told daddy (Jolly Brock) that I was in Haiti doing donuts with Aunt Edna's car. lol May God continue to bring you all peace and comfort during this terrible time of need.
