Mr. Winston Vernon Wellington “Papa” 75, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on July 1, 2020 in Greensboro, NC after a short stay at Moses Cone Hospital. Uncle Winston was a very admirable and loving man. He impacted my life as a young child, I remember when he usually wakes up in the morning to test his sugar levels but on one particular morning he asked me to help him and that was the day I said I wanted to become a nurse. As I grew that desire faded but Papa was always a factor in my life. I didn't get to visit often as I live in another country but it was always a pleasure to see him. He had the best smile and the best hugs. Even though he didn't remember me the last time he saw me. He still greeted me with hugs and kisses. I knew he remembered me somehow. Uncle Winston, I will miss you. I'll miss your smile, hugs and snores lol. Rest In Peace papa! Love you lots.

God Saw You God saw you getting tired, When a cure was not to be. So He wrapped his arms around you, and whispered, "Come to me". You didn't deserve what you went through, So He gave you rest. God's garden must be beautiful, He only takes the best And when I saw you sleeping, So peaceful and free from pain I could not wish you back To suffer that again. Rest In Peace Papa You may be gone but you will never be forgotten. Love Kevin

Papa I am writing you this letter to you up above, to tell you how much I miss you with all my heart and love. I do not know why you had to go, it just wasn't fair, I am left with this sorrow, sometimes too much to despair. It is hard to not touch you, it is hard to not see you. I hear you whisper inside my thoughts, I feel you around me, I know you live on through all the lives you have touched. I know someday I will see you again, in my heart I will hold you close and keep you safe until then. Always remembered and loved Kay Young
