Abraham was a graduate of G.W. Carver High School and was a member of Providence Church of Christ. He was retired from Ridgeway Clock after many years of service. He enjoyed fishing and watching the wrestling.
Abraham leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Jennie O. Holland of the home; his parents, Minister John and Lessie Holland of Martinsville, VA; three daughters, Patrina Strong of Eden, NC, Shirley (Tommy) Preston and Felicia Barbour both of Martinsville, VA; three sons, Tyrone (Keisha) Watkins, John (Donna) Hairston and Johnathon (Amanda) Adams all of Martinsville, VA; one sister, Sharon Holland of Martinsville, VA; eleven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; three aunts, Virginia Hairston and Irene Walker both of Martinsville, VA and Geraldine Adams of Hampton, VA; one uncle, Charlie Holland of Martinsville, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at 12 p.m. at the C.R.V. Memorial Chapel at Hairston Funeral Home with Reverend Gregory Perkins, Eulogist. Burial will follow at Carver Memorial Gardens, Martinsville, VA. A public viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Hairston Funeral Home between the hours of 12 p.m. until 5 p.m.
