Obituary For Paul David Byrd

Paul David Byrd, 60 was born in Claxton, GA on May 27, 1960 to Willis and Bonnie Byrd, who preceded him in death. Paul was a graduate of Claxton High School and moved to St. Augustine, FL shortly after graduating. He met and later married his wife, Arthia Byrd on May 29, 1993. He worked as a handy man and was skilled at carpentry. He enjoyed being outside and doing outdoor activities, especially grilling. He also enjoyed drawing, playing chess, pool, and watching his favorite NFL team, the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Arthia Byrd, and their two children, Alexandrea Danyae Byrd and David Jerrod Byrd. Five brothers, Cleveland Byrd (Clara Mae), Pembroke, GA; James L. Byrd, St. Augustine, FL; Eric B. Byrd (Vonne), St. Augustine, FL; Walter L. Byrd, Pembroke, GA; Kenneth Beasley (deceased). Six sisters; Nancy B. James (Reginald), St. Augustine, FL; Brunetta Holland (Gary), Claxton, GA; Jennifer Byrd, St. Augustine, FL ; Anissa Byrd (Jerry), Pembroke, GA; Joyce Williams, Claxton, GA; Sylvia Porter, Claxton, GA; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and many friends.

The Byrd Family will receive friends and the community from 6:00p.m. - 7:00p.m. Friday, July 10, 2020 at House of Faith Worship Ministry, Elder Willie D. Lee, Pastor. The Homegoing Celebration will be 11:00a.m. Saturday, July 11, 2020 at Zion Baptist Church of St. Augustine, FL, Rev. James Sams, Pastor. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, St. Augustine, FL.
