David Lee Nimmons, Sr., 75, of St. Augustine, FL was born on June 3, 1945 to Robert Nimmons, Sr. and Vernell Nimmons in Bambera, South Carolina. He enjoyed cooking and looking at videos. David was employed with the Dutch Pantry as a chef and the Blue Goose Bar. On Wednesday, July 1, 2020, David Nimmons transitioned from this life to his eternal life.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in eternal rest by his stepfather, John Wendell Lyons; son, Michael Greene; siblings, Viola Williams, Robert Nimmons, Sr., Larry Nimmons, Bernice Nimmons, Henry Nimmons, and Sorenzo Nimmons, Sr.

He leaves to cherish his many memories: sons, David Nimmons, Jr., Derrick Greene, Tony (Tracey) Greene; sisters, Theresa (Willie) Poole, Bettye Connors, Barbara Hooper; brother, Ricky Nimmons; Goddaughter, Brittany Bates, granddaughter, Aliyah Greene, Davia Nimmons; grandson, Derrick Greene, Jr.; a host of , great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The graveside will be 11:00a.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2020 in Evergreen Cemetery, St. Augustine, FL.
