Obituary For Mrs. Ella Mae Thomas (80)

It is with this in mind that, the Staff of Harrington Funeral Home Inc., formally announce the passing of:

Mrs. Ella Mae Thomas (80) of Valdosta, Georgia who completed the toils of this earthly life on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 while at Phoebe Putney Hospital in Albany, Georgia.

She was born on August 23, 1939 in Lowndes County to the late Mr. Jack Donaldson Sr., and the late Mrs. Emma Eady Donaldson. She resided at 515 Old Statenville Road in Valdosta, Georgia.

In addition to her parents, she was preceeded in death by her husband, Roosevelt Thomas Sr,; children, Kenneth Thomas, Ella Thomas, and Don Thomas; two grandchildren, Thomas Graddy and Tony Graddy; as well as as 9 siblings.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories her children, Al Thomas (Reida), Vera Wilkerson, Roosevelt Thomas Jr. (Thelma), Yevonne Graddy, Ricky Thomas, and El Stafford (Victoria). Her sisters, Willie B. Curry, Carolyn Rowe (James), and Grace Childs; and 17 grandchildren.

2 Corinthians 5:1 Reminds us: For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

Life Legacy Services of Mrs. Ella Mae Thomas will be celebrated on Saturday, July 18, 2020 with Graveside Services at 11:00 AM from the Lenox Cemetery in Lenox, Georgia. Pastor Aden P. Fluker, Jr., will be the officiating minister.
