Vic and I worked together at Discount Tire Centers and he was a amazing leader and mentor to many. I've never laughed so much as I did working with Vic. We were both VPs having a blast working one of our passions. Vic always gave credit and thanks to our Lord for his accomplishment. His love of family and friends was undeniable. Everyone in our organization has the highest level of Respect for Vic. RIP my good friend. Mike Nelson

Vic, I am heartbroken you're not here. Your advice and kind words will be with me always. You were there when I was struggling and lifted me up when I needed it. Last Friday when we spoke I felt discouraged. You told me to get out there and show everyone how it's done. The way you uplift people is so powerful. You were truthful and told me like it was. You're the coolest mentor, friend and one of the best area directors I've had the pleasure of working with. Dear friend and co-worker, you will be missed dearly. -Megan Carey

I had the pleasure of working with Vic with his recruiting and he could bless you with just the sound of his voice. It broke my heart to hear of his passing and I will continue to have his family, friends and "Pep Boys Family" in my prayers. There are many people that leave us but very few that leave an impact on your day. May his kindness be passed forward for years to come. He will be missed by me and the Pep Boys Recruiting Team. Love you Mr. Vic! Paula and the Recruiting Team

I read of a man who stood to speak at the funeral of a friend. He referred to the dates on the tombstone from the beginning... to the end. He noted that first came the date of birth and spoke of the following date with tears, but he said what mattered most of all was the dash between those years. For that dash represents all the time they spent alive on earth and now only those who loved them know what that little line is worth. For it matters not, how much we own, the cars... the house... the cash. What matters is how we Lived and Loved and how we spend our Dash. So think about this long and hard; are there things you'd like to change? For you never know how much time is left that still can be rearranged. To be less quick to anger and show appreciation more and love the people in our lives like we've never loved before. If we treat each other with respect and more often wear a smile... remembering that this special dash might only last a little while. So when your eulogy is being read, with your life's actions to rehash, would you be proud of the things they say about how you lived your dash? VIC, you stand to be That Man. The Best of Everything. The Best Father, Best Husband, Best Brother "Best Man" and without a doubt The Best Friend. You've made a difference in Many Lives. You have An Elongated Dash! Job Well Done! May you Be at Peace and May God continue to Bless your family. Our Deepest Condolences to your Family. Christina and i will Always continue to stay in touch with your Loved Ones. We Love You and will Miss You Forever Respectfully Christina & Joe Crutch

To the family of Mr. Victor "Vic" DeBroux. I was at a loss to to hear of the passing of Vic. What a gentle giant. My family and I met Vic at Tires Plus on Tara Blvd and instantly I became "Mama Pat". That smile was enough to light up the room and bring peace to customers who felt "My work is not right". Vic would say "We're going to take care of it, can I buy you a drink", they couldn't help but smile back. God will turn your sadness into joy and the pain you're feeling He will ease it with the presence of His loving arms holding you close. "Casting all your cares on Him; for He careth for you." 1Peter 5:7

I'm still at a lost for words. Vic influenced my decision to leave and join the PepBoys family. We hung out in Florida during business trips and just talked and talked. We were like brothers, even though our path only crossed briefly. I'm grateful and blessed, I had the opportunity to call you my "Brother". Lee Rhoden

Vic, All of us are heart broken. We met 35 Years ago at (DTC) North Hollywood, a life time of friendship and brotherhood. When you entered a room it lit up with your energy your laughter and jokes. You have a way of making all of us feel good about life, ourselves and others, your ability to create a sense of family within minutes of meeting you, you always shared how you felt lots of words like "I Love You Man" "Your my family I'll do anything for you" mixed with a few other colorful words you let us know you were always there. These words were not just for me they were truly deep rooted in your soul and were shared with many and that was our Vic a big man with a Big Heart & Soul that was to us a Great Friend, Great Brother, Great Husband, Great Father, Great Coach, Great Leader, Great Motivator, a Great Person. Looks like you made too much noise as heaven heard you and you got promoted again, greatness cannot be overlooked. We all wish you well our Brother, thou our hearts are heavy with grief we will not be selfish as your next journey awaits you, for your travels ride on your own words "Have A Super Fantastic Day" until we all meet again you will carry on in all our hearts, with the deepest love & respect your family always, Scott Maxson, Rose Lovett, Mike, Meli & Matt Tessier, Trevor Benson, Hailey Maxson, Nick & Carrie Maxson
