Stan when I think of you, your character, and how you lived your life 1 Corinthians 13: 4-7 come to mind because it describes you perfectly. It reads Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. You always exemplified the aforementioned and instilled those same morals and values in us. Stan you were so full of love especially for others. Your smile and presence were enough to light up a room. I had so much appreciation for your patience, calm spirit, willingness to help others and advice. You had so much wisdom, knowledge, and street sense. You always told me to make sure I had all three to survive in this world. You were the epitome of a great man... a phenomenal father, lover, provider, nurturer, and overall selfless man. Thank you for always loving and accepting me as your own. Thank you for loving my mother unconditionally. I watched you two laugh, make memories, and live life to the very fullest. All that you have taught me, all of our conversations, and all the wisdom and knowledge that you have shared will never be forgotten. You ran your course and did it well. You lived your life and touched the lives of so many others. I watched you be the best father you could and give others your very last. You have changed lives and your legacy will forever live on. Life as we know it will never be the same and you will never be forgotten! I thank God for placing you in my life. I have cherished every single moment. Until we meet again, enjoy Heaven because you deserve it! Love always and forever, Mrs. Tyneshia Jackson

I feel honored to have known Stan for the past 30+ years and so glad I got a chance to see him on June 11, 2020. Stan was an exceptionally good man he was honest, hardworking, and loved his children. He was a straight shooter meaning if you came to him for advice, he would tell you what he thought whether good or bad; he was a no non-sense type of guy. About a month ago I called him for advice on some exterior house painting quotes that I had received. He told me "No, Tuttie they are too high, I'll paint your house I'll be by Thursday", he came by, that was June 11th and that was the last time I saw him in person. Due to other jobs he had, he would not be able to start on my house until after the 4th of July; BUT God had other plans. Stan, you will always be remembered, and never forgotten. Death takes the body; God takes the soul! May the angels guide you home. May they lead you to our Father, Lord Jesus. May your spirit soar in freedom. And may your soul find your mother's soul and rest in peace. You are and always will be my brother-in-law. Rest on, Meat Man, until we meet again... Love, Tuttie P.S. If you see my daddy, please tell him that I love him and miss him so much

To the kids and family,I pray that God provide you with strength and peace beyond your imagination to get you through this difficult time. Be thankful and proud that Stan served his purpose,he was an awesome human being, and father with a great heart, and he will be missed.

To the Family,I send my sincere condolences to you all..My name is Aretha Jackson and I live right across the street from Stan at 6827. I met Stan when he moved in, in 2004. Stan has been a great friend to me and always looked out for me. He was a man with a heart of gold and could tell just by saying hello if you were good or not. I remember when I was out sick for over 6months I had know idea who was grooming my yard (front and back) for me, or who was leaving monetary gifts on my windshield in my vehicle and in my door, all I knew that I kept asking God for help and that I felt all alone like no one cared. Well Stan did.He helped me through some rough times and shared a lot of good times too. Stan you were a great and loving brother to me and I will always love you for that. I'm still in shock that you are no longer here...who do I talk to now. I will forever miss you and is so grateful that you were a part of my life . Rest in paradise my friend, my brother. Aretha

I have known Stanley since 1994 when he started with us at the Lucent jobsite. He was my "go to" painter! The best. In fact he was the ONLY painter to paint my house, more than once. But he was a great man too, a friend, smart, loyal and a good heart. We had many long discussions in my office about life, travels, people, work, everything, there were no boundaries. I loved his open mind and wit. I never saw him get mad, just chuckle! How could this man be taken from us?? he will be sorely missed. My sincere condolences go to his family. Don Belling
