Obituary For Elaine McIntosh

Funeral services will be Friday, July 17, 2020 at 1:00 p.m., New Lillie Mae Baptist Church, 1005 Country Loop Road, Georgetown, MS 39078.

Elaine McIntosh, 62 years old, was born August 2, 1957 to Mother Missouri Ann Moore (who preceded her in death). She lost her fight to Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer on July 7, 2020. Elaine accepted Christ at a young age. She attended New Hymn School, graduated from Pinola High School, and attended Prentiss Institute where she then went on to Tougaloo College. Elaine was loved by many. She lit up a room with jokes and laughs everywhere she went. She enjoyed planting flowers, traveling with her daughter and grandkids, family, and New England Patriots. She moved to Georgetown, MS around 1995/1996 and started work at Shedon Lab Systems where she was employed for 24 years and became an active member of New Lillie Mae M.B. Church. She leaves behind her four children: Antonio Upton, Kendrick Upton, Larry McIntosh, and Kierra McIntosh; four siblings: Catherine Calender (Melvin), Henry Moore (Stephanie), Jimmy Upton, and Alan Moore; nine grandchildren: Javian Upton, Jathan Upton, Ayi’Lasia, Ay’Den, A’Niya McIntosh, Kobe Upton, Kendrick Upton, Jr., JaKavion McIntosh, and Ja’Khel McIntosh; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. All of these she loved and deeply cared for.
