Obituary For Jonathan Butler

Jonathan C. Butler, 32, of Catonsville, MD transitioned into eternal life on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 in the peace and love of his home.

He was born in Harrisburg, son of John "Jack" and Tanya "Tammy" (Talley) Butler; a 2005 graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School, where he was a member of the football and baseball teams; a 2009 graduate of the Univ. of Pittsburgh; an employee of Baltimore Gas & Electric and a member of Goodwin Memorial Baptist Church.

Jonathan was a Pittsburgh Steeler's fan and in his leisure, he enjoyed watching TV, reading sport's articles, going to sporting events, running and working out and he loved being a Dad.

He leaves to celebrate his life, his wife, Bethany Butler; his daughter, Scarlett Ann Butler; his parents, John and Tanya Butler; his maternal grandfather, Raymond Talley; his father and mother-in-law, William and Carol Woolford and a host of other relatives and friends. Jonathan's life will be celebrated on Friday, July 10 in the Sanctuary of his Church, 2447 Green St., Harrisburg with viewing 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. COVID-19 guidelines will be observed with masks and six foot social distancing for all attendees. Due to COVID-19 guidelines his Funeral Service will be private, but can be viewed on Major H. Winfield Funeral Home Youtube Channel.

Burial will be on Saturday, July 11 at King's Memorial Cemetery in Baltimore, MD. The Family would be honored for donations to be made in memory of Jonathan to Jonathan Butler & Family Support Fund, gofundme or to Brain Cancer Research
