Ms. Willie Mae Cooper, daughter of the late Mr. Robert and Mrs. Estella Cooper, was born on April 4, 1926 in Eatonton, Georgia. At an early age, she confessed her love for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and joined Jefferson Baptist Church where she was a faithful member. In her later years, she became a life member of Superior #160 of Order of the Eastern Star.
She then became the bride of the late Mr. Willie Amos Swain and from this union, twelve children were born. In addition to the twelve she birthed, she raised two more, Ben and Johnny Adams.
A woman that was full of wisdom, she pressed on each day knowing that her faith would get her through. She was a God-fearing, fun, loving, loyal, caring, yet sassy and devoted mother, grandmother, and friend.
Early Sunday morning on July 12, 2020, she was called home to be with the Lord at East Alabama Medical Center. The life she lived and the paths she paved, will forever be remembered by her loving family.
