Courtney Rena Lyons called the Master, it is time! Your earthly journey has ended so welcome home whispered the Savior in the early morning hours on July 1, 2020. Courtney took her last breath and peacefully transitioned. Courtney was born on February 15, 1983 to Mary Louise “Lou” Lyons and Jerry L Ratley in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Courtney attended Ragsdale High School in Jamestown, NC and Central High School in High Point, NC. Courtney loved helping people and was kind to everyone she met. She loved cooking and sharing good meals with family and friends. She also loved making crafts.

She leaves to celebrate her memory her two sons; Tyreik and Isaiah Lyons of High Point, NC; her mother, Mary Louise Lyons and her father, Jerry Ratley, both of High Point, NC; her grandmother, Mrs. Catherine Horton of Tarboro, NC; one sister, Jessica Allen of High Point, NC; three brothers; Demetrice Lyons of Sanford, FL, Cory Lee Allen and Jerry Natron Ratley of High Point NC; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Her special friends Gary and Karla Delamar of Arkadelphia, Arkansas will miss her dearly as well as many other friends.

A private memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 22, 2020 at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel.
